| Live Astronomy Broadcasts |
|
This page has been created to provide LVAS website visitors a link to a Live Astronomy Broadcast website, known as the "Night Skies Network", developed by members of the Mallincam Support Group. Visitors are encouraged to view and participate in these broadcasts when they are on-line.
When you access the links below, you will see the opening Welcome screen shown below:
If it's your first time to visit Night Skies Network, you will need to register at the top of the page. (Note: Registering is free, but this is required to protect the site from Spammers. Broadcasts are monitored and rude, disrepectful guests are removed and blocked from re-entering.) After registering and logging-in, you will see an alphabetical list of Broadcast Channels under the welcome. The red ones are the channels that are live. The channel names correspond to the individual broadcaster - for example: Rob Lambert's channel is listed as "Scopegeek's". Locate the one you wish to view and click on it. In a few seconds, a new window will appear with the "Live" video and a chat window. If you want to participate in the Chat, your first entry in the Chat window must be what your "Handle" or "Screen Name" will be. Don't forget to do this first, or your screen name will be part of a long sentence. The individual video and chat windows can be resized as you choose.
Click on the welcome screen above, use this link: Night Skies Network, or paste this URL into your browser: http://www.nightskiesnetwork.com |
